Meet Betty Wade, RD

Let me introduce you to the amazing Betty Wade. A Clinical Dietitian for 38 years, Betty taught nutrition and health for Utah Valley University for several years. She has been certified in diabetes education, adult weight management and renal dietitian for 15 years and also worked as the Dietitian for Intermountain Hospital.   

I met Betty 15 years ago while I was working as a nurse. She was the dietitian at the hospital where I worked. At the time, I was really confused about what I should be eating and feeding my family and I saw the effects of poor nutrition choices on my patients in the hospital and the pain and suffering it caused.  As a nurse I wanted to heal people, but I now know that real and lasting healing comes from consistently making healthy choices.  

People ask me all the time for advice about nutrition and there’s never been a great resource to refer them. So Betty and I decided to create this virtual nutrition course to answer all your nutrition questions and inspire motivated women to make consistent and correct healthy choices.
